I watched 'Marie Antoinette' the other day and found it totally awesome. I've been drawing side profiles of cliched French monarchy ever since.
This is sort of Tim Burton meets France in the 1700's. Inspired by the very over quoted, she-never-actually-said-it, translated-from-brioche quote 'Let Them Eat Cake'. I started drawing it with a random pen (not pencil!!!! its a wonder I didn't fudge it up!) and carried on to eccentuate it with a black sharpie and Letreset marker in 'Orange'. It's my birthday tomorrow! Yay! Cake is quite fitting, therefore  NO reference, done at school (lol) ENJOY |

As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same.
